Someone gave me an Esteban Midnight Legacy guitar today :mrgreen::lol::cool: not quite sure what to do with it, but I must admit, I like the neck profile :lol:

Nah, I'll get it right and give it to a kid before i would do that. It could actually be a cool looking guitar if the headstock wasn't so hideous.

You know, I see all the threads on those & caught about a minute of one of the TV ads but don't think I've ever seen an Estaban 'in the flesh'.

Maybe I don't hang in the right crowd...

I'd mess with it, paint it something, maybe a gold top and zoomy home made pick guard.
Keep it cheap though.

Okay so it's a Strat-Paul.

Now I have nothing against mixing up Fender and Gibson, as my Tele-Paul shows...

But that Esteban looks HIDEOUS!

And as Strat-Pauls go, they can be much more classy than that esteban could EVER be.

Is the headstock supposed to look like an E?

Best looking Esteban I've seen. It has to sound better than the acoustics.

My sister in law has an Esteban acoustic, and no I don't know why or how she got it. While it's not a great guitar, it sure beats my first guitar. It's overpriced compared to the Epiphones that are less expensive. I wouldn't want to play a gig on it, but it's fine for campfire nights.
