Well, yesterday actually.

Heres something a little different from Gibson, the 335-S reissue. All maple body, maple neck with Granadillo fretboard. Obviously brighter than a Les Paul but not ice pick bright, very nice clean and with overdrive.

I dont know who gets the credit either Sweetwater or Gibson but this was the best setup guitar out of the box ive ever had. Nice low action, no buzzing, just needed a slight pickup height adjustment. The Burstbuckers sound great. Build and finish are great, it some some really nice flame on the back of the neck and i think the plain top looks fantastic.

PICS!!

It's truly gorgeous. I've never even heard of this model. Is it solid or hollow? Whatever the case may be, Congrats!

I've never seen one of those before, it looks fantastic! Is it ES-335 sized, or LP sized?

Edit: Just Googled it, very interesting!

Oh man, it's a good thing that I've never seen one of those locally. All maple too, I can understand why it's heavy. It's definitely not a "run of the mill" guitar. Again, a big congrats!
