Bought this (http://www.buy4now.ie/woodiesdiy/productdetail.aspx?pid=13865&loc=P&catid=2.2.2) in Ireland.

States on the can crystal clear non yellowing colour for paint, wood, metal....

I put it on my guitar body last night which I had painted Rustoleum Ivory Bisque (Antique white) and when I looked at it this morning it has tainted the white by leaving a yellowish green tinge in the finish where the overlap was done.

Very disappointed - I emailed the manufacturer this morning.

Any ideas how best to remove the tinge without losing weeks of drying time to re-paint?

Simple answer: no. Just redo it and mark it down as experience. Bad one at that.

Alot of the time when I was painting bikes for my buddies with rattle cans before I got my sprayer, stupid stuff would happen like that. I would need to mix and match different brands of paint and clear because they wouldn't work together without tinting, peeling each other off, hazing. I try to wait for it to dry for a few days before spraying so the paint has time to really cure and then spray the clear. But sometimes certain clear just won't work with the paint you put it over.

Hope your next paint job comes out amazing.
