Is it in the G3? The Tonelab?

I know of the Boss pedal but I wasn't that impressed. . .and I know that someone will say FN5, but that's not a Bassman emulator. .

Does anyone have any faves?

Direct or into amp. Anyways, all of them not too impressive vs actual amp. However, for direct recording sansamp blonde gives fender-style tone. Line6 HD also should work pretty well.
As for pedals, Catalinbread has tweed style pedal, wampler has black'65 and new tweed'57 (should be released soon), Menatone has some amp-in-a-can pedals

HAO Sole Prerssure! (http://www.pedalspluseffectswarehouse.com/HAO_Sole_Pressure_p/hao-sp1.htm) I have their Marshall-y pedal (the Rust Driver) and love it. Go HAO!
