Question about creating guitar plans

Hey guys,

Now I know this isn't a bass forum, but this is a question that could be applied to both guitars and basses.

I'm looking to start a musicman inspired bass project, and there are of course, no plans available online as far as I can tell. On the musicman website however, they offer a "diagram and schematics" download, check it: http://www.music-man.com/instruments/basses/classic-stingray-4.html

My question is how can I tell if the diagram is drawn to scale i.e ready to be printed and turned into a template, and if not, how would I go about turning it into a scaled diagram?
