Humbucker adviceLondonLefty April 6th, 2012, 08:15 PM Finally gave in to the call of the LP, well Hohner L59 copy, love the guitar, but the humbuckers are a little 'dark' for my taste. I think they are Kent Armstrongs, but I'm not certain. For a classic blues/rock LP humbuckers what should I go for ? Plus I want to keep it under £70/$100 for the set? Really liked them. I have seen them on e-bay used for around $50 each. To my ears they were warm and powerful. Viejo April 7th, 2012, 10:49 AM +1 on adjusting the pickups. Start with the neck pickup flush with the ring.
