flyingbanana April 6th, 2012, 08:09 PM I was going to buy this body. Sure...it is an aftermarket pine strat body, but to me it was a thing of beauty. Now...not so much.
Before and after routing. Probably weighs 2.5 lbs now.

Stuco April 6th, 2012, 09:30 PM Its not really going to matter with the pickguard on, although I can understand your feeling. They did route it cleanly at least.

charlie chitlin April 6th, 2012, 11:22 PM I think I knew a guy who had a set-up like that for getting supplies through customs...
flyingbanana April 7th, 2012, 04:47 AM Well, I was thinking the guy couldn't have been to bright. He was using an el cheapo bridge pickup with a bar magnet on the bottom.
StratSlinger April 7th, 2012, 09:21 PM Now you could do this.

Lol, no he wouldn't touch it. No one could even look at it, and it could never be played.

No he didn't. He already has enough room for an amp to fit in there.:lol:

Well, that leaves a lot of room for experimentation.
First thing I would do is put my Charlie Christian pickup in there with a new pickguard just to see how it sounds with the other two strat pickups.
