my first ever "composition" / recording. mainly just experimenting with/adapting to the recording software.
the strat went straight from a tiny practice amp into the PC. One bass clip was recorded a long time ago, the other at the time this was put together. drums obviously midi but that's my beat, fwiw. The "vocal" is...I don't want to explain that. Just come to NYC sometime and keep your ears open. I've been wanting to build a jam around it since I got here.
I recorded this with Ableton Live Lite 8 which is an incredible app. It does lend itself to looping and unless you're really imaginative it's easy to get that "loopy" feel. Hence...
It's not the sound I wanted but I was happy to actually get something down on "tape."
