I'm sure I've got the DVD of this concert, is it Knebworth?

Love the vocals!

I was blown away when I saw them live.
I didn't know they could pull those harmonies off.

I watched this concert again yesterday and for the umpteenth time loved every minute of it.

The way Dennis was pounding the skins reminds me of Animal from the Muppets

My mates missus was impressed with Mike Love's " Spinal Tap " impersonation

I'm more interested in that strange guitar with the Wide range pickups and Starcaster neck with block inlays, what's up with that? A Fender prototype of some sorts?

oh, Dennis could play drums. he just preferred surfing, etc when the band were recording. so in the studio it was Hal Blaine. but live, Dennis rocked it

I'm not exactly convinced it was his own decision though ...

I think he brings a raw energy to the band that they need live, but at the same time I clearly hear that his timing is slightly off at certain points during all songs.

But I still prefer his energetic drumming to a more perfect, but slicker drumming style - especially in a live situation where they'd played a lot of the same stuff for a couple of decades.

If you guys are referring to the lucite one Carl is playing, it was a Fender prototype. The guitar was on ebay awhile back:

That picture is from a Fender photoshoot they did.
