I was wondering if it's possible to have a tele body drilled for a vintage bridge to be routed for a floyd rose.
thanks

Someone on here fit a vintage trem to a tele -- they cut a vintage bridge plate to do it.

Installing a Floyd would be about the same thing, other than enlarging the block cavity just a hair....

Well it's possible, but that guitar's gonna have to have a LOT of wood taken out!

Sure it is. The Floyd route will take out the portion of the body with the string holes and bridge mounting screws. You can also get one from Warmoth or another similar company that's ready to go. Or, keep your eyes out for a Kramer Teleon eBay or one of the used outlets near you.

A Kramer, like this one:

The left one is my 92 MIM w/ EMGs and the right one is my 01 MIM w/ GFS and DiMarzio pups and the middle is the Kramer, stock Neck pup and a SD HotRails bridge.
It's a Kramer Focus Classic III. Very thick tone.
