My local guitar guru who is the best ever ( recently got my Bourgeois 00 hog from him)- just became a Froggy Bottom dealer and secured three 2012 build spots.
I had been looking at many guitars of his to find my ultimate prized acoustic (family heirloom type thing). When he got the news he offered me the first slot- a June 2012 build date. I had often thought of them as the company I would like to build my guitar and recently read the Acoustic Guitar magazine story.
When he got the news and gave me the opportunity- plus I had the funds- it was divine intervention and I had to go for it!
Sometime toward the end of the summer I'll be getting my left-handed H-14 deluxe with adirondack top and rosewood back and sides. Pictures will follow.
I just couldn't keep it to myself any longer! Thank you Vic at Lefty Guitars Only and thank you all ot Froggy Bottom.

Very nice! Alas, I am afraid that the anticipation may just kill you...

I believe I saw a write up on Froggy Bottom Guitars a couple months ago in Acoustic Guitar Magazine.

On Dr's orders I am on a heart monitor to make sure I don't keel over from anticipation. The sedatives don't hurt either. ;-)

Wow, man, that is no joke. Those are AMAZING guitars with a fine New England background. Congrats.

I've had a froggy bottom before. Usually from a ruthless burrito lunch and a long day sitting down. If not treated, it can easily escalade into what Dave Chapelle refers to as 'mudbutt'

Brian........... somehow I think I'll enjoy mine more than you yours! Lol

"Mudbutt," wasn't that Tom Petty's band in Florida...no wait, that was "Mudcrutch"...Uh, Dan Tyminski's band? (Oh Brother Where Art Thou...)...no again, thats the Soggy Bottom Boys...
OK, I'm done...

Just saw this thread, but my first thought was along the same lines as Brian's. Kinda went like this in my mind:
"I can't keep it in any longer- I am gettin' a Froggy Bottom!"
"Boy, that sounds like a personal problem!"
April 6th, 2012, 06:04 PM
Didn't even think of that........... lol!!!

A Froggy Bottom thread in the acoustic part of this forum means only one thing to me .
Right handers .

The only acoustic that I covet more than a Froggy Bottom is something from Wayne Henderson and that AIN'T happening.
Psyched for you! Lefty and all. Hopefully you have left handed heirs!!

Actually my daughter is left handed and already at 7 has a daisy rock lefty acoustic. Boy what a windfall she'll be in for! Lol

I have an H-12. Best acoustic guitar I've ever played, and probably ever will play. A few years ago I had been coveting a Martin 000-28VS or a Collings 0002H and was trying out both of them at Gryphon Strings in Palo Alto when they showed me the H-12, which was on consignment. The Martin and the Collings weren't even close to the Froggy.
Congratulations. It's a lifetime guitar.

Lol, the thread title alone made me come here and I was gonna wish you a speedy recovery.
now that I know what a froggy bottom is **chuckle** I'll just say - Congrats!
