Truss rod help for Highway One!

This may sound silly, but a mate of mine decided to roll up a ball of tissue and jam it down the hole that leads to my truss rod. It is jammed in there pretty deep and tight. Anyone have any techniques for me to get this ball of tissue out of the hole, I need to adjust my truss rod! And yes, I will kick his ass!

I'd start with a drill bit maybe 3/16ths or so and just twist the drill bit in by hand with no power drill in sight. Perhaps even a smaller bit. Gently wind it in and pull it out.
A screw would also wind in and perhaps pull out. DIg 'er out of there any way you can...
