Wiring a buffer into a wah?

Hey, everyone:

So, I built one of the GGG IC buffers, and really dig it. But I don't want to take up more space on the ol' pedalboard, so...I'd love to build it into my wah. I have a few questions, though:

1) I want the buffer to be always on, so I'd either wire it in between the input jack and switch, or output jack and switch, right?

2) Should I wire it in on the input side, before the wah, or on the output side, after the wah?

3) Do I just send a wire from the DC jack to the 9v pad on the PCB to power the little booger?

Thanks!

Is the Wah Wah the first pedal in the pedal chain? If it is, wire the buffer before the Wah Wah.Wire the power as in 3 and of course, connect the buffer ground to the Wah Wah ground.(I am assuming they both have negative grounds and run on 9 volt).

Thanks for the response: I hadn't thought about connecting the grounds.

Wah is 3rd in the chain (after Merkin Fuzz, which likes a straight guitar signal, and tuner).

Thanks for this, Drew: it was helpful in terms of thinking about placement, though I've already got a buffer built and don't need a new one.

Also, I should have mentioned: I've hotrodded my wah pretty heavily: true bypass, LED, Fasel yellow, trimpots for gain, bass, and mids, and a few other things. It's not the wah, per se, that's sucking tone, it's the 9 pedals, 25' of cable, and 20' of patch cable. The buffer is basically to drive all that stuff, and, instead of putting it on the board, I'd rather save space and build it into an already-existing enclosure. The wah's is the biggest, so there it goes.
