Not much going on right now so I thought i would share a link to bass players. Its a long list & I think its pretty complete. Each name is clickable to a wiki page on that person.

Heres the link to my favorite.

It's quite arbitrary to say "I think it's pretty complete" :D
I can't seem to find Cubbie Fink of Foster the People, quite nice "indie" band with cool musical ideas, not to mention tallented (and really pretty) Charlotte Cooper of The Subways.
But a list like that can never be TOO complete.

Thanks for reminding about the list! Nice thing to do, studying it. Might learn something interesting about our fellas. :D

Thanks, you can edit the list to add more names/links!

Wiki is created by the masses-written by people like you, and me.

It may have some use, I suppose

I thought at first the list was bassists that already had an entry in the Wiki but Davey Faragher, James Hutchinson are in the 'pedia but not on the list so I'm not sure how they compiled it. Or why, for that matter.

Right, and even if it listed every bassist with a page, it would still be no more than that. It's not a list of all notable bassists.

Another omission: Longtime Nashville A-team session bassist Henry Strzelecki isn't on that list and doesn't have a page either. You'll find his name on many albums with pages, and that's only fraction of what he's recorded.
