Someone mentioned an Ipad app to use for lyrics whilst onstage.BedspreadPicnic April 2nd, 2012, 03:01 PM What was it called? Jakedog April 2nd, 2012, 08:05 PM I don't know, but last time I was in Nashville (November) pretty much everybody had an iPad for charts, lryics, etc. I asked one bass player about it, and he said his had lyrics and charts to over 3000 songs. He said it replaced several very large binders. I can see the chart thing being very useful for somebody who gigs several times a day with different people, and often on the fly. i don't need any help with lyrics. i wish I could forget them. swellsmd April 2nd, 2012, 08:54 PM I use it every gig. App called gig books, a scanner and a mike stand mount and I have it covered. I host an open mike every week so I also have an app from ultimate guitar for chords and lyrics, if I have Internet connection I can play I any request (within reason). No more bulky binders to carry around. It's the talk of the town. Bruce J April 3rd, 2012, 12:56 AM I've seen Onsong mentioned several times. I downloaded it this weekend, but haven't been able to play with it yet. |
