Can someone tell me what is the thread size of the saddle screws for a MIM 2006 thinline 72 reissue telecaster. I see saddle screws for sale on various sites with the sizes 4-40, 6-32, M3, etc. Which one for this tele? Height does not matter.
Thanks,
Rich

Welcome!
That's most definitely not 6-32.
I believe that's M3. I think all the MIMs with bents (with the exception of the Jimmie Vaughan) use a M3 fastener, stock.
If someone has slipped some USA Reissue saddles on there, those would be 4-40.
Take a saddle to a real hardware store. Most any will have M3 on hand, you can try one of theirs to confirm.
Another way to confirm: If you have a .050 allen tool handy, and it fits nice, that would mean it was 4-40. If the .050 inch size is sloppy in there, then it is gonna be M3. If a 1.5 mm hex tool fits in there, it is M3 and not 4-40.

0.05 fits nice and 1.5mm is too big. I guess that means 4-40. Correct?
