New UK Band

I would like your honest opinion of my son's band, critique very gratefully received. The bans have a medley of songs on their Facebook page, under "Band Profile". The name of the band is "The Decade Runners", first hit on google. All are 19-20 years old. Let me know what you think people and any comments would be gratefully accepted.

They sound great Dave! Good vocals and some nice songwriting.

They'll have trouble standing out from all the other bazillion 20 something whiny indie pop bands out there. Their are kinda bland and derivative. They should be a little more adventurous musically or be more energetic generally. No one wants to sound like 5 years ago. I say it's time to search for the new sound!

Though they are probably in a band to get laid or an excuse to get messed up and fool around. So as long as they are happy it's fine.

Good for a new band. I liked the variety of their sounds. I hear some harmonies coming through and they sound good. I think the ability to harmonize is not that common and they might think about really tightening up those harmonies.
