I'm working on my 5e3 build ,Thought I was going to have enough money to get my cabinet and transformers this month, but I was a little short on cash.My son needed some trip money,so I only got the transformers.April ,I sure will be a better month.Anyway I saw a used bronco on Ebay ,and a 600 champ ,was wondering if either one was worth getting .Or maybe I should just work on my amp kit and not bother

What are you playing through now? If you need a little amp to jam out with, go for it! If you already have amps and are just gassing, maybe finish your build :)

Cheapest Bronco I found was over $500.

There was a solid state Bronco in tweed trim made during the 90s. That was a pretty decent amp if you don't want tubes and is in the Champion 600 price range.

Too expensive for a SS amp imo.
The "tubey" 600 can easily be converted in a decent tweed.

Which I was expecting to see. Probably someone bought it.

I'm playing through a bass amp right now.I'm about half done with my amp kit,I'm thinking I should be done in June or so. So I was thinking if a bronco or champ 600 came along at the right price ,I might grab one. There's also a G dec 30 on craigslist down here for $150 asking price (says used only a few times)
