How do I embed youtube videos?

I clicked on the you tube button in a post of mine, pasted the code you tube gave me when i clicked the embed tab on their site, and in my post the video just showed up as a blank white box.

yeah, I've been wondering the same thing.

Click ~ Go Advanced ~ at the bottom of the post andlook at the right end of the choices. There is a small YouTube in Red. Click it and you get the stuff below.

Insert just the guts from your YouTube choice between the brackets> in this case> ZACwVOJXpn0

1. Go Advanced on your post/reply
2. Click the YouTube button (it's the one near the right end -- after the # but before the music-notes graphic)

You'll get this: "[ YOUTUBE ] [ /YOUTUBE ]"

In between the two ITEMS, insert ONLY the stuff on the URL line in YouTube after /watch?v=

For the link below, that's this string of stuff: Ugpg8XruhVk
The whole URL looks like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ugpg8XruhVk

Like so: [YOUTUBE]Ugpg8XruhVk

haha! i love austin! it's amazing, but dont tell anybody ok? i'm married to a hot lady, but the women here are definitely nicer looking than they are in southern california. it's true. i think it's the jeans.

Since this always comes up billions of times a year...I'll add my own answer.

Here's an example of a Youtube web address.

In this case, take the characters after the = symbol and past them in between two Youtube tags. The tags look like this [YOUTUBE] and the same thing repeated, but with a / symbol before the Y.

And your video will be displayed...unless it's blocked on Youtube's end for whatever reason.

but yea what they said, "youtube" button and everything past the = sign
