Hiya All,
Been a Strat player for years and am now looking for a decent Tele. I'm not picky as to country of origin/build. My Strat is a heavily modded Players Deluxe. Why spend $1-2+k and then feel guilty modding anything on it or even just modding it in the first place. Nothing too radical, just made it "my own". So, will I mod the Tele right way. Probably not. Just want to get to know it a bit at first. But, I'm not afraid to tear into it. That's the beauty of Fenders. They seem to be built with the possibility of modding in mind. Leo made great designed guitars to be played and played with. He knows us musicians well. We like to fiddle with everything from a chord progression to a tone-pot.
