Greetings all, this is my first thread (thanks to Paul Green).I live in the north east of England and play 4 Teles,3 Strats and a 1963 J-45 (not all at once)although it has been suggested that I do sound like it.
My question for you is....Have you ever used a CD Guitar trainer like the Tascams to nail a difficult piece and if so how easy are they to use?

I have the mp3 version GB-10, it is really easy to use.
You can slow down the songs, adjust for tuning... ie half step down.
It has helped me pick things up by ear, but I am still a novice.

Many thanks for your messages. Rebelwoclue....I have been to Kentucky (in the 70's), what a wonderful place(as are all of the states).Country and Bluegrass music is what the angels play....I hope, or I'm not goin'. I have a good friend who has a music shop so presently I'm trying to get him to order a sample from his suppliers. Once again thanks to you all.

I used one as a slow downer when I was learning some Albert Lee stuff.
As I remember the instructions were pretty easy to follow.

I also have the Mp3 version of the Tascam trainer. Pretty handy, keeps things more or less in tune when you slow things down. Navigating to files is cumbersome, however.
