If there is a better country album than Looks Like Rain I have yet to hear it. The Holy Trinity of Texas songwriters is, without a doubt, Mickey, Townes and Guy Clark. My favorite song of Mickey's is, I think, Cortelia Clark. Clever lyrics, wonderful imagery and a beautiful melody.
