Say Hello to my Strat

I'm sure many of you have seen my tele on the forums, but I never introduced my strat. Well Here she is-

2000 MIM Standard Sunburst Strat

Maple neck ( For some reason I just don't like Rosewood, even though I'm a big hendrix/SRV fan.)

Custom Shop 69 pups

CTS Pots

Perloid Pickguard

I plan to put some shielding in there to control the hum. I stand very close to my amp at curch, and I get a pretty bad hum.

Here's my strat. What do you think ?

Very nice. I've ways liked the sunburst/maple combination. Personally, I'd change the pickguard to either black or white; but that's just me.

My pick would be aged white.

Nice strat though. I like maple too more than rosewood, feels great, sounds great, looks great...

I got this guitar with the pearloid guard, but the guy did give me the original guard aswell. I never realy thought of putting it on there. What a coinsidence, the original guard is white, more specificaly aged white. It had a nice creamy color to it. Maybe I'll stick it on there.

Definitely an aged white guard would be the dog's attachments for that.

I think if you change the pup covers, knobs and tip to parchment it would look better. But hey, it's a nice looking guitar as is! I like maple better then rosewood too.
Are you going to use shielding foil or paint?
Get a PickGuard shield first as it will cut a lot of noise down.
