I'm just loving Position 2 the Bridge/Middle pickup tone lately

Most of my strat loving life I've been a play it on the neck pickup kind of guy, or the middle, sometimes the bridge. I've never been a fan of the "quack" positions 2 & 4 that use the bridge/middle or neck/middle pickups.

But my goodness since I've gotten my favorite strat ever, a 2000 Deluxe (pre S1).. I'm just absolutely loving the bridge - middle position tone these days.

Position 2 just sounds perfect for most of the songs we play at our gigs. Nice and twangy, sweet and crisp, and it can bite too, but never too ice picky or dull.

Anyone else a big fan of the bridge/middle pickup tone these days?

I thought 2 was neck/middle and 4 was middle/bridge? Whatever, they are both amazing.

The only position I do not use on a strat is neck/middle. All other positions get used heavily. The middle/bridge combo is very cool, and gets used a lot. I use it for rhythm tones only though. I don't generally use it for soloing. All fo that usually happens equal parts on the neck middle and bridge pickups.
