Need song ideas for "Under The Boardwalk" themed party

Hey ya'll! I landed a gig for a private event, a Spring Fling for one of the local Catholic schools. The theme for the event is "Under The Boardwalk", so I am thinking about a list of songs/artists that evoke the beach, summertime, etc. So far I've got Jimmy Buffet, Bob Marley, Beach Boys, of course Under The Boardwalk by the Drifters. It's just going to a solo gig...me and an acoustic. If you have any good song ideas please lay 'em on me. Thanks!!

Hey.... A lil late to the part here, but I do a party sorta like that every year. My friend has a big backyard Luau every year. I usually try to get a handfull of music friends to do sort of a pickup band, but some times I end up doing it myself. I do pretty much the same stuff you are suggesting. Sometimes we'll add in stuff like; Southern Cross by CSN, or Sloop John B, we also may add in some sea shanty's as well depending on who shows up. I also usually bust out the Uke for a few tunes too. Every body loves "Tiny Bubbles".

Surf Stuff like Wipe Out, Pipeline, would sound cool accoustic

We did a similar gig, and one song that I still get a lot of mileage from is "Jump in Line" by Harry Belafonte. The conga line is always a slam dunk.

We should've learned "Hot Hot Hot" but we never did....

Everytime I hear "Under The Boardwalk", I think of "UP ON THE ROOF".
