OK, I know this is going to be an, ahem, exclusive club, and I haven't even gotten mine yet so I can't post pix, but I thought I'd throw a line out there and see if there are other supplicants like me. I just bought a Kingsnake on eBay this week, it's due to be delivered next Thursday and I can't wait.

I had a Hellhound years ago and thought it was a great amp. I can't remember why I sold it. Anyway, in the never-ending tonequest that is my life, I've decided to give these another try and I figured I'd try a Kingsnake this time.

So any other owners out there? Love to hear your experiences, how you like them, do you gig them or just keep them in the closet? I'm also curious about the reissues from Cusack. I've always felt that Joe Naylor makes excellent products and it's just a shame he didn't have the capital to properly market his great amps. Be interesting to see if the amp gets some distribution now and becomes more popular.

Looking forward to hearing from the faithful (I know, I have to stop...)

Happy owner of a Blonde Tolex Hellhound 40/60. Got it this past January, and have gigged it a lot. You can hear it here:

I'm a Reverend fan... (and I really like Joe Naylor products) ... starting to be collectable I think. I own a Goblin 5/15.... and it is never in the closet!!!! Its lightweight, toneful, responsive, and with the schitzo switch, copies several classic sounds appropriate for any genre maybe sans metal... 6v6tubes do it all at levels that won't seriously wound anyone... I tend to use the blackface and brit drive settings depending on what the band is playing... (we're kinda alt. country).

Its got great vibe too for such a little guy -- controls change the sound in an interactive way.... sounds harmonically huge to me sometimes when the tubes are burning... and mic'd through the PA for gigs does not leave too much to be desired.

Sure beats lugging my Super Reverb --and yeah--the Goblin does not move as much air as the Super so it feels different--- but I have not been told to turn down by a sound guy with it yet... and don't feel I am suffering a great tone loss like with other small wattage amps I've tried, or that its a one trick pony --lots of sounds in this one anyway...

Bar owners, these days, are much to do about keeping the volume curve a lot lower too so I think the Goblin fits the smaller clubs better too.

I got my hellhound not long after they came. I used it during a heavy gig period where I played it 4 nites aweek for months. Never a problem and lots of compliments on my tone.
I have been fooling with a Jeff Cook stinger hornet lately, but I know some new tubes and the hellhound will be ready to go and sound great.
