Anyone else here play one? Got mine in 1978 and I believe it was made in 76/77

No but I have seen a video with Clarence White playing one which means the bluegrass guys must love them.

Nice.

I have always wanted to check out one of them.

I've played and owned three. Mahogany/red spruce, Indian rosewood/bear claw Sitka, and Brazilian rosewood/red spruce. Great guitars. I did almost all of the Internet sound clips for Roy's main dealer- Greg Boyd's House of fine instruments in Missoula mt.

I'm now playing two custom John Walker slope shouldered dreads both with red spruce tops - one mahogany, one brazilian. A person really needs to have one of each since the woods do such different things. :)

I fully embrace my addiction. :) Honesty with one's self is the path to freedom.
