Silvertone (Not Vintage) Strat Pickguard

Anyone ever seen a Silvertone Revolver (Strat Copy)? It's not vintage-- it's a new, budget line guitar that comes in a package with a practice amp. Here's a pic:

I bought one for cheap off of a friend and plan on modding it with a preloaded pickguard. Problem is, I'm not sure if the new pg would fit. I've attached a pic of the new pg, a guitarfetish preloaded one. Just eyeballing it, do u guys think it's too far off? I'm willing to drill new holes if needed. Or anyone out there who has one of these gits and has tried replacing the pg? (I doubt it but just wanted to check anyway)

And I know what you're going to say: why not just order one and check. I have ordered one, it just hasn't come in yet. Though I'm afraid I may have to return it.
