Trivia question: What '60's group morphed into the Atlanta Rhythm Section?
Hints: Spooky, Stormy, Traces

ARS IMO had a lot of really great guitar driven tunes - studio guys who decided, i guess, to make a little extra $$! Sadly 'the voice' of ARS left us last year.

Okay, so the trivia wasn't that exciting, eh? When I first heard 'So into You' back in the day, something tugged at some memories from the '60's. Later, I learned that part of the Classic IV's from Dennis Yost and the Classic IV fame were part of the Atlanta Rhythm Section. The sound of 'So INto You' is directly linked to the sound of 'Spooky', 'Traces', 'Stormy' and the other D.Y. adn the Classics IV music from the '60's. ...unmistable link.
Adn...yes, as a google search reveals.....some of the Classic IV' members joined with some members of The Candymen to extablish a session group that did studio work....and became The Atlanta Rhyhthm Section.
??? The Candymen.....Can someone fill me in on that group?? Something tells me that I have heard maybe a one-hit wonder song from them???
