After seeing several threads on solving drum dilemmas, I got an e-mail notice that Toontrack's offering a $79 special on EZD ($100 off retail) and expansion packs (i.e., different kits) for $39 (half retail price). This is hard to beat. ... Think I'm gonna spring for the Latin Percussion pack. Here's one site with the offer, though I'm sure there are many: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/EZdrummer

Did you pick up the Americana one?
If so, what are your thoughts.

Got the Americana kit for Christmas ... it's not as slick-sounding as the Nashville kit, but not as muffled as the Vintage kit, somewhere in-between. It doesn't have as many patterns as the Rock or Nashville kits, and it only has two toms (one mounted, one floor), but it has a couple of extra cymbal-type sounds. I used it for Ain't No More Oil (In the Ground), posted recently right here on the world-famous RIP forum. Overall impression: quite useful for roots-rock, blues and old-school country.
Just finished loading the Latin kit lots of goodies! Wish I'd gotten it sooner, like when I was recording Viente Años.
