A 30/800 is my DREAM amp... How do you like the Dual 20? bikeracr March 1st, 2012, 10:17 PM Very very nice! GoldieLocks March 6th, 2012, 03:52 PM I've never heard one of those. What would you compare it to? Fender, Marshall, Dr. Z, Vox, Hiwatt, Two Rock, Dumble, Line 6 (just kidding:roll:)...i'll have to go on Youtube and find a sample: Not that the truth comes across in quirky videos. WHat kind of tubes and speakers is it using? Teleworshipkid March 6th, 2012, 07:02 PM I've never heard one of those. What would you compare it to? WHat kind of tubes and speakers is it using? Vox-inspired boutique. But he offers Fender- and Marshall-based models too. The 30/800 is actually an AC30 on one channel and a JCM800 on the second. Hence the name... ;) GoldieLocks March 6th, 2012, 07:27 PM Wow, an AC 30 or a JCM 800? i'm curious what you are favouring? Teleworshipkid March 6th, 2012, 07:28 PM Wow, an AC 30 or a JCM 800? i'm curious what you are favouring? All of the above. :) Telephonic March 9th, 2012, 10:15 AM That's a beautiful amp, congrats! I love my Morgan AC20 Deluxe, best amp I have ever owned. re-run July 16th, 2012, 10:24 PM MAN that is the sexiest amp ive ever seen :) How much did it cost you? Rich_S July 17th, 2012, 12:23 AM I played a monster 100-watt Dumble-esque Morgan at a friend's house a few weeks ago. Unbelievably great tone, wonderful bloom. Reminded me of Michael Wards's Demeter tones on John Hiatt's Perfectly Good Guitar and Budokan CDs. Too rich for my wallet, though. |
