BRIDGE HUMBUCKER

Hey all,

The Seymour Duncan Seth Lover SH-55 went so well in the neck position of my telecaster that I want to put a humbucker in the bridge position.

I have already sorted out routing and bridgepieces etc but now I have to choose a pickup.

I play some blues and the Seth is great for that in the neck but i want something with alot more bite in the bridge (think white stripes, zeppelin type sound) I want something with a bit more clarity than the seth and LOTS of balls.

Your suggestions, as always, will be much appreciated.
Hope to hear from you guys soon,

Hot Rails or Lil 59 will fit in your tele without any routing and they are humbucking.

I too love the Seth in the neck of a tele for da blooz. Great sounding neck pickup. If you are looking for a full size bucker with more edge, shoot me a pm and I'll put you in touch with a new winder in canada who is making fantastic buckers at a great price.

For single coil size pups, the SK T-90 and Lollar Special are hard to beat. Still single coils, but hey mathc up very well with the Seth. For single coil sized buckers, the Dimarzio Tone Zone T is good.

Thanks guys,

I have already done the routing etc so I am looking to put a full sized humbucker in. I live in Australia so I only really have access to the major brands such as Seymour Duncan, Dimarzio, Gibson etc.

Keep the suggestions coming, i appreciate your help

Already done the routing.......ok. I put a SD Jeff Beck Humbucker in my G&L F-100 in 1987 and have never regretted it.

+1 for lil 59. you can hardly go wrong with a good PAF type in the bridge for most styles of music.
