I have mine installed on an old Ibanez Les Paul Jr. but I also took it off that guitar and had it on a regular Les Paul for awhile. All of the mechanism is housed inside a couple of aluminum plates with a lever sticking out to attach the strap button. Then you just push down on the neck the same as you would with a P/W or P/G or glaser to activate it. The unit has an adjustment screw coming out the top to adjust the length of the bend and another coming out the rear near the top which adjusts the spring tension. A rocker type puller goes over the rear of the guitar and is activated by a rod coming out of the back of the housing. This bender is very well thought out, works very well and stays in tune....... Here's some shots of it at different angles........JH in Va. csadams5 February 27th, 2012, 06:07 PM Very cool. I like the concept of the add-on bender. |
