MJT Bodies vs Musikraft Bodies

Hey everyone! I'm planning to order a new body & neck for a partscaster I'll be building soon, but am trying to decide on a body to use. I'm shooting for a blackguard build, so I'm trying to keep it to as close to vintage specs as possible (the body, at least). I'm debating between either:

A) Ordering the body from Musikraft and then sending to MJT for finishing or
B) Ordering the body, finished, through MJT

I really am just curious, as I've heard the MJT bodies, while great, are not exactly up to vintage specs. I know I could save some money doing it that way, but I just want to be well informed. Any information you guys have would be great.

Either will give you a great guitar if you know exactly what you want and specify that. Musikraft has more precise options for early-50s spec bodies if that matters to you.

Send a note to Matt and Mark at MJT and tell them exactly what you want and they can work with you. mjt@mjtagedfinishes.com Photos help if there is something specific in mind.

i can't answer your question for you, but I do have a partscaster with an MJT body and a Musikraft neck, and based on those I think you'd do fine with either one.

Wildwood wont make exact copies of Fenders so if you want vintage specs it's Musikraft.
