Hi

I need a reality check here. Not looking to sell, looking for what they call "insurance valuation" on the Roadshow.

1500. Refinished, non original pieces and parts. Not worth a cent more. Oh... it means something to us who have been bent... but to the rest of the meatheads out there the guitar has been trashed.

Unfortunately, that's probably true unless there is a bender guy with the hots for it.
For insurance purposes though, I'd go for about $2500, because that's what it would be to get close to replacing it with anywhere near the same quality.

Well, it's time to sell...

http://www.sonic.net/~claudel/SellMe/telecaster-01.jpg

Please examine the pix closely, pay attention to the repaired neck pocket and iffy paint repair.

It currently has a steel Fender bridge plate installed, but I'll include the stainless Vintique one which fits the same body holes...

Comes with 80's tweed Fender case.

$1850 + Ship/PP if used.

I prefer face to face, cash transaction.

I'll consider trade +/- cash for size 00 or smaller acoustic with nice wood, fat neck, no bling.

Oh man, I'm going to miss that one.

If I was in the U.S. I would snap that amphibian up!

Too bad the economy is in the dumper and I'm a bit cash-thin...I'd be all over it.

To veteran bender players the early PW serial number has value; the guitar itself has value only to a player who wants one, since to collectors, as Mike said, it's a thrashed '72.

I know a guy looking for one...will pass the word. Man...wish I had the cash or useful trade bait!

No, but I'm not in a hurry/desparate to sell it.

I thought I'd give the real bender fans the first shot...
