NSD! (new strings)

I keep telling myself I'm going to change my strings more often. I just changed them out--polished the body and headstock, and oiled the fretboard while I had the strings out--and it's like having a new guitar, only all broken in! The sound and feel of a fresh set of strings is wonderful.

It's kind of like washing the car; I should do that more often, too. :oops:

I love the sound of new strings :grin:

I've started buying really cheap, unbranded strings off Ebay and not only do they sound fine but I can afford to change them more frequently. Haven't had a set on a guitar long enough to see how long they would really last but at least half as long as branded sets but at 1/3 the price.

OOps - just noticed this is the acoustic forum - I got a couple of acoustic sets to try but don't think I'll be putting the cheapo ones on my Martin!!!
