It was my first amp (a Hornet) in 1974, bought second hand with my first electric guitar. I gave it away when it went wrong in about 1980. It distorted really well at a low volume. There is a Fenton-Weill website link here. I like it for low volume bottleneck. squatch April 1st, 2012, 08:48 AM Cool! I didn't know Fenton-Weill made amps My friend (recently deceased) had a Fenton-Weill guitar He'd just had it restored as well...but it wasn't my cuppa tea It was a 3 p.u. with vibrato arm So were Fenton an amp company that brought out a guitar? (like Watkins) It's the only one I've seen in Oz...must be rare maty26t November 20th, 2012, 10:47 AM I have a Fenton-Weill Porta-Bass 15 Amplifier from 1962 great sounding amp but needing to sell it however unsure of what price to go for can anyone recomend a price range for me ? |
