Buddy of mine took his warwick to a local part time luthier dude.
Just some buzzing. But said he cant do it.
It appears, he needs a 'warwick only special tool' to adjust truss rod.
Anything comparable??

Yeah....an allen wrench. 5mm I believe. I've had multiple Warwicks, and up until the last two, I never had the truss rod tool. Yet I adjusted every one of them with an allen wrench (or in other words, the part time luthier dude is full of it).
I managed with just a regular allen wrench (the smaller kind, maybe 2-3" long), but if he has access to a long one (around 6-8" or so), he'll be set. The beauty of the Warwick truss rod cover is that a small flat head screw driver or knife will pop it right off, you can make the adjustment, put it back on and you're done.
