Fender Sunn Mustang club

The original Sunn Mustang Stratocasters and P Bass' were licensed by Fender (FMIC) and built in India in the late 80s. They have good quality electronics with full size pots, fairly hot pickups and excellent necks. They can be bought very cheaply, mine was £40. Later models made in the mid 90s to the early 2000s were not as good but still decent copies.

Fender bought the Sunn brand and licensed the Stratocaster design to be built in India. They are like Samick built Squiers but with better electronics and pickups. The necks are fantastic, good quality maple with tight grained, dark rosewood boards.

That pink strat is so killer. What a great, great looking guitar! I'd buy that in a hurry.

Wow! I have a Sunn amp and an actual Fender Mustang, both made here in the USA! This is interesting and very cool!
