Big shout out to Hipshot bridges

So, the stock bridge on my Epi Allen Woody didn't have enough throw to intonate the G string correctly with my preferred brand of strings.

What the heck, sez I, I'll get one of them spiffy Hipshot bridges, they look like they have plenty of throw to 'em.

Got the bridge, installed it - it's quite a looker - but although the bridge assembly has plenty of room for adjustment, the intonation adjustment screws (two short and two long) that they included were too short to get my G string saddle all the way out to where it needed to be. Waaaah!

Sent a short e-mail to Hipshot, explaining the problem. Within the week I had two sets of screws: four equal to the longer ones included with the bridge, and four just a bit longer - which were just the right length to intonate my G string. No charge!

Nice guys, them Hipshot fellers...

I've been hearing of this problem for awhile now, you'd think they'd just start including the longer screws.

I'll add to the praises of Hipshot. Bill is the frickin MAN.

As a new builder, I've got lots of questions that most companies would laugh at you for asking. Not these guys.

I bough a D style bass bridge from them, and promptly effed up the mounting flanges. I called Hipshot and told them what happened, even said it was my fault, and they still didn't charge me for the replacement.

Also, if you need something that you don't see on their site, be aware that they do all their own machine work, so if they don't have it, they'll usually have no problem making it.
