I Can Only Imagine [Archive] - Telecaster Guitar Forum

I am going to play and sing "I Can Only Imagine" in our little country church tomorrow. It has been fun putting this together. I am doing a double intro with my Telecaster and Fender Ultimate Chorus amp with a high sweep of tremelo....I love it. I got over my sinus/cold infection and I do the song in the key of D so the other musician's can play along.

Aditionally, we have a young girl who is super talented and we are putting together "What Can Wash Away My Sins/Hosanna" for her. She sings it in C#. I love to play this song (maybe some of my old rock n roll coming out of me). Looks like I may be getting into this contemporary gospel music thing.

Next up for me will be "Wondrous Cross", if I can keep the tears out of my eyes. What a message. I have about another dozen songs lined up. I want to thank all of you again for your help.

We did the song "What Can Wash Away My Sins / Hosanna" Sunday. It was wonderful.
We are going to be doing a lot more of these type of Praise and worship songs in the future. Our Pastor loves it.
