I want one too! Washburn says it's going to go for $1,783,90. That's a pretty specific price but hopefully it's MSRP not street. Not much information on the Washburn site but they have this page now: http://www.washburn.com/news/news.php?ID=21

I'd like it, but that's alot for a Washburn even with a bender.

Agreed. I'll bet that Forrest will add a bender to anyone's acoustic for a decent price.

Talked to FL today at length and he's stoked about these.
He gave me an idea of street price and it's pretty darn good compared to the MSRP.
Sorry you'll have to email him for the price.

I had the pleasure of playing the guitar at NAMM for a few days. The bender mechanism is solid and uniquely designed. Washburn did an fantastic job on the details of everything else - it is absolutely a DeLuxe model. I'd put it up against a $3,000+ Taylor any day.

Interesting. I was just musing the other day about if you could put a bender on a hollow or semi-hollow. Anyone seen such an aminal?

If it can be done, Forrest can do it.

I used to have a Hipshot b-bender on my old Fender acoustic and it worked pretty good.

It looks to me that you'd almost be better off building a hollow or semi hollowbody from the start to have a bender. Unless you want to take off the back or top to install one on an existing guitar.
