I have played guitar for 24 years. I am primarily an electric blues player, but I do a little rock, country, and rootsy stuff. I would consider my abilities intermediate to decent.
In all that time, I have never taken acoustic guitar past the point of campfire strumming, if you know what I mean. I can play and sing hundreds of songs acoustically, but I'm either just strumming or playing what I would play on an electric, on the acoustic. I have a great acoustic(1993 Alvarez Yairi DY-50N Wind River Deluxe), and a beater. I have been thinking about setting the electrics down for a bit and really concentrating on the acoustic, BUT DON'T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN! Advice? I want "acoustic" chops.
