I'm about to start a Cabronita build (yawn, I know everyone and their drummer has built one by now) but I was curious about 1 thing before I cut my body tomorrow.
I've bought a cut-off vintage bridge with 3 compensated brass saddles by Wilkinson. If I decide later on that I want to change to the typical Cabronita strat hardtail bridge, is there a company that makes a direct replacement that will fit the existing mounting holes? If not, will I have to drill more holes infront or behind the existing ones? And will I have to drill new string-thru holes?
Thanks in advance for any advice, it's much appreciated. I've also posted this in the "nuts n bolts" forum because I'm desperate for help!
