Tim Wallis January 4th, 2012, 05:10 PM Nice song to do some bendin' on. Before sending this guitar to a friend that had me put it together for him, I did a little pickin' on it. The old Ray Charles classic "You Don't Know Me".

Happy New Year from Down Here..
J. Hayes January 9th, 2012, 03:14 PM that's some beautiful playing there on one of my favorite old standards. I might have made an uncalled for comment on the forum sometime before about your benders looking "funny" but there ain't nothing "funny" about your playing at all. You have a great touch and tone to die for. Also, the more I hear you play, the less "funny" your benders look, I might be in the market for one of 'em pretty soon as I still have one Tele with no bender.......Keep up the good stuff.........JH in Va.
Tim Wallis January 11th, 2012, 12:18 PM Thanks again everyone!
JH, my guitar and gadgets have been called a lot worse than "funny" so no offense taken my friend. I appreciate the compliments on the tone and touch. I love to chicken pick, but once in awhile it's nice to slow down and play one of the great classic songs.
I have a friend in Nashville that's wanting me to put together a CD/DVD collection of classics for him to market to the Home Shopping Channel and QVC, so I've been trying find some tunes that are Bender friendly and make a CD/DVD. I think this song is a time tested classic. Hoping to find more. Any suggestions?

You have enough classics from all the Guitar Pickle shows, Swinging Drawrs, Clyde, Crazy Arms, etc...do it...what you need to do is a how to video on your style and benders, I bet you'd sell 10's and 10's of records...lol
TelePeter January 15th, 2012, 04:17 AM Nice tone and playing! Enjoyed it!
Ormond January 21st, 2012, 03:09 AM Always love it when the "Master" posts a Bender vid!
