The Bezel and The LED

This is going to be the biggest noob question you will most likely ever encounter but..
How do you put a led into a Bezel and make it stay there?
Is it supposed to lock in place because mine just comes right out and I thought I must be doing something wrong as, the pedals I bought can withstand someone pressing the led without it falling out.

Its a normall one as I understand it, looks like

The plastic sleeve should fit tightly in the metal bezel. The led sits on the plastic sleeve, with the legs poking out the 2 holes in the bottom. Then the plastic sleeve with the led slides into the metal bezel from the bottom. If it fits tightly, it shouldn't come out. If not, I'm not sure what you can do.

What I usually do is take a small screwdriver and put it between the leads on that plastic insert and push it into the bezel. Use the tip right on the plastic insert. The insert should sort of snap into place.

With the screwdriver between the leads you can get some leverage to push the fitting into the bezel. Hard to describe, but easy to do.

Be careful with the leads, they will break fairly easily.
