Hey,
I have an old Performer 20V DOD pedal which runs on an adaptor or 2 9V batteries. The modulation seems distorted similar to when my Phase 90 gets a weak battery...kinda farty weak signal that doesn't track/delay well. It looks like a previous owner has added some wiring to the power supply section since there is a twist connector now between the RED wire from 1 9V battery and the BLACK wire of the other 9V battery. That circuit also connects to the AC/DC adaptor jack. The distortion occurs both batteries and adaptor, but they are in the same circuit, so I am wondering if this is an incorrect wiring?
Logic tells me power should go from the "out" of the 1st battery to the "in" of the 2nd, but I have no idea if this is correct? I will try to get a pic up befopre long...
THANK YOU!!!
