One spot on/off switch

I want to wire up a switch to where I can keep my power supply plugged in, and just have a switch to turn the power on and off on my board.

I figure there is a way to take a small enclosure, two female jacks, and a switch to make it work. Example: plug the male coming from the onespot power supply into on of the female jacks in the enclosure and then just a circuit breaker controlled by the switch, onto the output jack of the enclosure.

Any help guys?

Much Appreciated, thanks.

why not use a small power strip?

Your idea will cut the power at the output of the One Spot. Meanwhile, the input of the One Spot is still plugged into the wall. Ever notice how a lot of wall warts are warm when there is nothing plugged into them? Thats why - the primary of the transformer is a coil of wire that's always conducting current. Some wall warts are smarter than others and I'm not sure if the One Spot is in that category.

A power strip cuts the power to the input of the One Spot so when it's off, it's off.
