hot springs reverb question

How does it work with the high impedence guitar signal? Anyone mod it to blend the the clean & wet signals? Any alternatives to this kit? I own the vanamps verb & luv it, but sadly its clear across the country in storage. I'm not looking for a tube driven verb, but do want the springs.

I built the Hot Springs back in the 80's. The assembly directions say to swap the input cap and resistor to something like .01 uF/1M for hi Z and 5uF/10K for low Z.
I have since used the same circuit driving only one tank, just omiting the lower one shown. Worked well that way too. I never added a blend control to it but it's certainly possible.
