EZDrummer Americana EZX — anyone tried it?

Toontrack's running another of their $39 EZX sales ... last time they did this, they excluded the Americana kit, and I figured that was because it was so new, they wanted to milk it as long as they could. I really like the warm but not muffled kit sounds, and particularly the fact that it has swing grooves, because writing western swing parts from scratch is excruciating and tedious.

So I decided to wait til the next sale in hopes it would be included. But for this latest round, they excluded it again. However, I've got a little extra cush from a project I recently completed, and thought that since roots music is pretty much my stock in trade, why not go ahead and spring for it.

But first, I wanted to run it by you guys and see if anyone has experience with it, for better or worse. Any of y'all using this?

I have EZ drummer but none of the expansions. It’s one of those plugs –ins sometimes I love it sometimes I hate it. But if you buy it give a review. $39 dollars that is a deal.

Actually, the Americana set is full price (excluded from the sale) ... I got the stock Rock kit and the Nashville kit on sale, but need something more to the rustic side. (BTW, the Nashville is pretty dang good — $39 is a steal.)

You can get it through Amazon for $75 (http://www.amazon.com/Toontrack-Americana-EZX-Expansion-Pack/dp/B005SV9ZQ6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1324093663&sr=8-1) or go to their source: AudioDeluxe for $69 (http://audiodeluxe.com/products/toontrack-americana-ezx) (it says $79 but shows $69 when you add to cart. Electronic delivery only.

I haven't had any experience with AudioDeluxe myself, but I have been satisfied with ordering through Amazon in the past.

Yeah, I went ahead and ordered thru Amazon (tried and true, free shipping). Hope I'm not buying a pig in a poke, but all the audio samples, kit designations and reviews I found online were pretty good and look like they'll be effective for my musical style.
